LPL scale of lock security. In the video look for the following phrases: "Inexcusable design flaw" - 0/6 "As such it is a lock to avoid" - 1/6 "And just that quickly we got this open" - 2/6 "Not something I would rely on to secure anything of value" - 3/6 "It wouldn't slow down an experienced picker for very long" - 4/6 "This wasn't terribly difficult to open but the skills and tools required to do so aren't terribly common" - 5/6 "Lock I would consider using" - 6/6

2:29 it's quite sad that modern locks sometimes have the same flaws as a lock that is more than 70 years old. the problem then doesn't lie with this lock, but those locks instead

I don’t know what kind of lawyer LPL is..., he could very well be some kind of specialist whose job doesn’t call for him to appear in court. But if he is a trial lawyer, and somehow got a case in which the subject of lock picking was a point of evidence, he’d have to call upon an outside expert witness, and would not likely be permitted to make any assertions on the subject himself.

"A British Ex-Pat" is an immigrant. The British have double standards. They call others "immigrants" when they leave their homelands to make new lives in Britain. But refer to themselves as "Ex-Pats" when in the same situation.

Vor 8 Stunden
llama0wn3d
llama0wn3d

Depends on the perspective you’re describing it from. If you’re the native culture describing someone who moved abroad, they’ll always be an ex-pat. If you’re the host culture describing someone who has moved to your country, they are an immigrant. It’s not just the British who do this. Every country describes their diaspora as Ex-Pats or an equivalent term. Btw: Outbound migrants are Emigrants; inbound migrants are immigrants. Note the E/I difference.
